• fine motor deficits that make it difficult to complete writing assignments during school and/or
completing homework assignments or school projects
• inappropriate behavior and lack of self regulation skills and social skills which causes an
interruption to instruction time and in turn make it difficult to learn academics
• difficulty starting an assignment, progressing through an assignment, and completing an
assignment
• difficulty with transitions from one assignment or activity to another which impacts learning and
functioning in the school environment
• lack of necessary functional life skills for functioning successfully in the classroom, school and other
environments
